We Recommend: Halloween Podcasts for Spooky Season Listening

August 2, 2021

The spooky season is nearing! We’re getting ready to sip pumpkin spice lattes, boot up and walk around gleefully through fallen autumn leaves, wrap up in blankets and read dark books by the fire. We’re also starting to listen to many of the wonderful Halloween and autumn podcasts out there. Take a listen to some of our new favorites:

The It’s Always Halloween podcast is hosted by “Master of Scaremonies”  Lucé Tomlin-Brenner. The podcast highlights year-round Halloween traditions. Recent episodes have involved Halloween crafts, spooky book recommendations, spooky music, Halloween cookware, Halloween films, and lots of interesting calls from fans calling in.

You can listen to It’s Always Halloween on Apple Podcasts too, and they have an Instagram presence.

The HaunTopic Radio podcast is primarily for home haunters seeking to make their Halloween haunted houses even scarier. Recent episodes include Haunted Attraction Design Do’s and Don’ts; Do-It-Yourself animatronics; and Haunt Trends for 2021.

You can listen to HaunTopic Radio on their website as well.

The Halloween Art & Travel Podcast is for collectors of Halloween-themed art. Besides really interesting features on dark artists, there are occasional mentions of Victorian cemeteries, witch hat crafters, and spooky creators.

Follow Halloween Art & Travel on Instagram if you like. You can listen to the podcast over on Apple Podcasts too.

The Haunt Weekly podcast is a “weekly podcast about the haunted attraction industry from the smallest home haunt to the largest event haunt.”

Recent episodes discuss a recent visit to Saint Louis’s “City Museum,” discuss how to encourage trick-or-treating, and go over better communication within a haunted attraction.

Stop by the HauntWeekly website for updates. They also offer their podcast on a YouTube channel.

Happy dark listening,

-Carrie
