I love a good page-turning thriller, so this week I picked up “A Game of Lies” (via Amazon; affiliate link) by Clare Mackintosh (a former police officer, I want to note!)

It’s a police procedural about a reality television series where the seven contestants are stranded in the Welsh mountains. One contestant disappears (not supposed to be part of the show) and the murderer might strike next. The detective has to figure out who has a secret worth killing for.
